Weed doesn't make you hallucinate. Maybe that's what you read in some anti-weed post. But that's not the case. It's more like a strong chai tea, it takes the edge off.

Different strains. Sativa, Indica have different effects. Long cured, Longer storage. So many things can affect the high.

Edibles as a general rule are 5x stronger per gram then smoked, vaped, tincture.

Sure but it also depends on how it's made. I've done dispensary edibles at 200mg and got nothing from it. 80mg of my own stuff will rip my head clean off.
Really well made highly bioavailable edibles can hit as hard as some well known hallucinogenic substances.

I've made well over 30,000 Kief based Capsules for my own medical issue and they are as strong as I can possibly make them.

Decarb = 240 F for 40 minutes (uncovered)

5 grams Kief, Hash, Concentrates, Powdered Buds
2.5 teaspoons Coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon Lecithin
Heat 220 F for 20 minutes
Freeze
Heat 220 F for 20 minutes
Done

Fills 30 (0) sized capsules @ 80mg with concentrates
25mg with powdered buds

Warning. Start very low dose. 1 drop is to much for low dose users like my wife. A full cap is 25 drops and just right for me.

The 1 drop capsules I start new users on.
Between the Coconut oil and the lecithin these make for a far superior medication to anything I've created to date.

What does the lecithin do?

 

Lecithin is now found in many foods and medications.
It makes less sugar seem sweeter
Less medication be as effective.
Liposomal Encapsulation is what we are trying to accomplish with it.
A Small ultrasonic cleaner can be used to help encapsulate the cannabinoids and oils.
Personally I feel it doubles the effects and more then doubles the length of the "stone".

I've been making the same basic Kief oil for several years now and I've tested enough batches with and without Lecithin and I won't waste my time making a round without Lecithin now.
