Taproot damage to plant

    I've had a seedling growing for 2 days now and I picked up it's pot to move it to the windowsill since it was unusually sunny out and under the pot was a snapped off tip of the taproot will it survive?

    Breaking a taproot is usually fatal if indeed that's what you did. Good luck and good grows keep.us posted

    It must've grown through the drainage hole

    No the root grew out of a drainage hole and snapped

    ooooooooo. so it was pretty long then? how big is your pot? im gonna say its fine. the seeds grow more than one root and ive had roots growing out of drainage holes all the time.

    a pic would help us tell for sure tho

    4 inches deep 4 inches wide scared me a good bit cause first time growing

    Yeah I'll repot it and watch it while planting a replacement just in case

    Depending on its size you might want to wait to repot it.
