CFL light bulbs and 600w LED

    Can i add CFL light to my LED set up in a 4x2x6 grow tent?

    Yes of course you can. CFLs can be added as extra lighting to improve bud formation in smaller setups

    So it wont be a waste of extra electricity? Will it actually make a difference ?

    If the CFL bulbs are placed strategically to increase the light in lower Bud sites then it'll make a difference but it will of course eat electricity you burning your your burning a light bulb

    Nice setup. I didnt know there where 300w cfl light bulbs. I might purchace some. But one question. The ones on like Amazon says 300W Equivalent . Are those the right type. Which ones did you buy?

    Always look for true watts or watts drawn from wallpower. That's the amount of watts that you gotta look for rather than equivalent.

    yes they are the 300w equivalent bulbs. i believe an actual wattage of around 45w. per bulb.

    Instead of CFLs, LED bulbs with the white cover removed do better for much less juice. Try and find ones that has all the COBs facing one direction.
