I did the math for retiring at 65 (my fully qualified age is 66 1/2). The monthly payments would be reduced by about 1/2% per month retired early, so in my case, 9%. For SS to break even it will take 8 1/2 years, so I would be 73 1/2 before actually coming out short. I think I can do more with the money in that time than they can. This doesn't factor in any money the wife may be entitled too. I need to research that part more.

A 4th night of Civil Disturbance has seen yet another run on the already depleted inventories of the local gun stores. After the COVID-19 panic buying of the last 2 months the display cases at most stores are still glaringly empty. And now we have the CDOJ making up new laws and rules out of thin air. The 10 day wait cooling off period in this state has been extended indefinitely to give the .gov time to see if your a prohibited person. We are seeing waits exceed 30 days. A right delayed is a right denied. Screaming Karen's suddenly want their guns NOW !! But you voted for all this gun banning bullshit and now your not happy with it ??
