a while back i saw a video on youtube that showed how if a cop wants to search you, you can say "i do not consent to a search" yesterday a cop wanted to search me and he didnt even ask if it was alright he just started unzipping my backpack and i said that and he backed right off. if i didnt see the video i wouldnt have known what to say or at least i would not have been able to think of something that fast. by the way i had a bubbler with resin in it and thats all i didnt want him to find.
Yeah if you don't say anything they take it as consenting unfortunately Glad you got a cop who cares about getting in trouble. I've had it happen to me twice where they searched me anyway saying they can do what they want, I didn't get charged for anything though because it was an illegal search.
