Look, I'm not going to shit up this thread with petty stuff. If you have a bone to pick you're free to PM me.
For the sake of discussion then, how are Zardoz or Caligula not cult films? I don't see you starting shit with OP. Where does Jodorowsky fall short?
movies that didn't necessarily do well in the box office or get good reviews or were indie. yet an underground following of fans exists.
any Wes Anderson films Ichi The Killer The Blues Brothers The Big Lebowski The Serpent & The Rainbow Beyond The Black Rainbow Dr. Strangelove Clockwork Orange Blue Velvet Buckaroo Banzai Zardoz In The Mouth of Madness A Scanner Darkly Waking Life Jacob's Ladder Lawnmower Man (idk if that really counts lol) Cannibal Holocaust Boys From Brasil (crazy movie with an army of Hilter clones) and i'm sure there are more i'm forgetting
Repo Man. Always has been since I saw it back in the 80's. It never gets old. Have you watched it as an adult? It's one of those movies for me that seemed very deep and complicated when it came out, but now when I watch it (I think the last time was about 2 years ago) it's totally not. Not saying it's a bad movie, it's always worth watching, but it's a pretty silly movie now I think.
Eraserhead Shakes The Clown Meet The Applegates And YES...Repo Man is hysterical! "There's one in every car! You'll see."
its kind of hard when a damn good amount of the movies you love can be considered cult fims lol. i'll start with what i've recently seen, anyways. the brood spinal tap the big lebowski night of the living dead creepshow the thing plan 9 from outerspace the hills have eyes they live texas chainsaw massacre
awesome list man, i'm definitely going to check out every movie i dont recognize, because the ones i do are some of the best. in the mouth of madness, serpent and the rainbow, dr. strangelove, blues brothers, clockwork orange, and cannibal holocaust are definitely some of my favorites (i was considering putting the prince of darkness in my list but didnt really know if that counted lol)
