Your absolute #1 dream concert setlist.

  1. Pick a band, pick some songs. Even throw in an opener or encore in there if you want.
    15-20 tracks seems pretty ace.

    Me:

Muse. Opener? Nobody can properly open for Muse.

    Take A Bow
    Uprising
    Unnatural Selection
    Stockholm Syndrome
    House of the Rising Sun
    Fury
    Recess
    Plug in Baby
    Time is Running Out
    Micro Cuts
    Showbiz
    Spiral Static
    Hyper Chondriac Music
    Space Dementia
    Con-science
    Exogenesis: Sympony, Pt. 1: Overture

    Encore:
    Feeling Good
    Mk Ultra
    Shrinking Universe
    Knights of Cydonia

Would be epic. Now come on, I know I'm not the only one who's sat there stoned and thought "man, sure would be a killer set."

    Go on.

  2. Aphex twin and Merzbow, performing with Mike patton on vocals.

All three artists have performed with eachother in the past separately, so not too far fetched to see them together.

  3. Dude, holy fuck. I was just thinking about the exact same thing while listening to iTunes. Good thread brother; +Rep. Anyways, I think I have my perfect setlist narrowed down.

    Opener: MGMT
    Headliner: David Bowie

I pick MGMT as an opener because I always thought it would be incredible to see/hear them collaborate with the one and only David Bowie. Plus, it would be cool if they did a Bowie cover to lead into the concert properly. "Within You" covered by MGMT would be great.

    Bowie:
    -Space Oddity
    -Magic Dance
    -Let's Dance
    -Suffragette City
    -Queen Bitch
    -Within You
    -Golden Years
    -Changes
    -Ziggy Stardust
    -Under Pressure w/ MGMT

In that order. I feel like that would help to cover all his best songs, and combine them perfectly to provide for an awesome show.

  4. dream concert would be Lotus opening for STS9 at a nice outdoor venue such as The Lawn at White River State Park in Indianapolis.

    Lotus:

    Umbilical Moonrise
    Bubonic Tonic>
    Livingston Storm
    Harps
    Lead Pipe
    Blue Giant>
    Behind Midwest Storefronts
    Plant Your Root>Spiritualize

    STS9 Set 1:
    Musical Story, Yes>Really Wut?
    Baraka
    Kamuy
    F. Word
    By The Morning Sun

    Arigato

    STS9 Set 2:
    Move My Peeps
    Music, Us
    Luma Daylight
    Somesing
    Inspire Strikes Back
    Peoples
    Be Nice

    Encore:
    Breathe In
    Circus

  5. Lotus and Sound Tribe would be sick.

  6. I got to see Nas, He performed 1 verse and Chorus off every song off Illmatic,, so dream complete

  7. Michael Jackson

  10. NO MAP OF THE PROBLEMATIQUE?????

    as for me:

either RHCP, Jane's Addiction (with Eric Avery), or Tool. Literally nothing would surpass the experience of witnessing any of these bands performing.

  14. Damn, that's a hard one.

Sorry. Certain albums deserve their own setlist sans "interruptions"...
