Yield? Gr/Sqm - Gr/Plant

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by incognitoflo, Feb 23, 2009.

  1. Ok. On seed sites I see yield and usually gr/sqm.

What exactly is that measuring? By square meter? But how many plants is that?

Also gr/plant. Is this grams per plant?

If someone explain this it'd be greatly appreciated.

  2. Yeah good question - what does that mean? :(

  3. This was asked the other day, it (usually) means grams per metre squared when using SoG method.

Not sure on the Gr/plant, but if it's suggesting 400 gr/plant i cant see that being grams per plant coz that would be some serious fucking harvest;)

  4. You can't equate a number of plants to square meters because it depends how you grow them. Some individual plants grown outdoors can exceed a square meter on their own, whereas an indoor SOG could fit 10 or more plants into a sq meter.

Use the breeder numbers for comparing one strain to another, not for projecting your own yield.
