yellowing leaves---normal or symptom of problem ?

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by newbie3333, Sep 7, 2016.

  1. Hi,

New grower here. I have a few plants in 10 gallon smart pots outdoors. soil is 420 blend. all was going great. flowering has started, but on a couple plants, a lot of fan leaves are yellowing and dying off.

Ive read that some degree of yellowing fan leaves is normal, but this seems like ALOT of foliage loss, and there are several weeks of flowering still to come.

I was feeding a balanced 20-20-20 once a week with normal watering, but switched to a 0-10-10 once flowering started a couple of weeks ago.

Water (tap) is around pH 7.5, soil is around pH 6.5.

Overwatering ? N deficiency ? need advice please.

Thank you for your help !!!!
