what would give the best bud ? i am haveing problems with heat with my 400w hps ,also would 2 200w cfl,s use less eletric?
if you have those already i would veg with the cfls and then flower with the hps, as for electricity i think no matter what you are drawing 400 watts. but with the hps the ballast could use more power. so i could see how it might cost less.
thanks for the reply ,yer i just have a 400w hps that am useing for veg at the moment ,plants doing very well and have grown very fast in 2 weeks useing bio-grow feed ,ill just stick with the 400 w hps and add some small cfls for the lower pop corn buds when i start to flower.
