Amazon.com: Gardman R754 16-Inch Grow Through Hoop with 3 Legs: Patio, Lawn & Garden Would this work for SCROGing? I need somethign that is attached to the pots, so i can remove them for flushing. Thoughts? Cheaper version - Amazon.com: Origin Point 631630 16 Inch GroTall Plant GroThru Support, Green: Patio, Lawn & Garden
To really scrog properly, your screen should be much larger than the perimeter of the pot. If you're going to scrog old school style and strip all that lower bud and just grow the mains, it should do Why would u need to remove them to flush??
In my case, I am limited to 48' wide and 22" deep due to cabinet size. I only want to do 2-3 plants at a time, so for me, the 16in are the best size for 3 plants. Also, I am using 3gal gro pots at 12in wide, so these would only be 4in wider than the pot diameter. If I did only two plants, the 20" versions would be great. 8" larger than pot diameter, large enough? Thanks! They were $4 each at my local store, I think I will give them a try.
These screens are each 45 x 40, 4 plants. Just to give u an idea of whats coming veg time decides size later. These were flipped with 5 weeks veg from seed and the screen is 8" above the medium [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4gzjb8UcO4&list=UUQebiox8cSLleEhVy0qs_KQ&index=6&feature=plcp[/ame] The 20's sound better
