Would this Brownie cooking technique work?

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by smjocn, Oct 1, 2010.

  1. I have 25 g's of decent mids that I am going to make into a batch of 20 brownies. My friend is telling me that I could just grind the bud with a coffee grinder and mix it into the brownie mix and then bake the brownies as usual. Isn't this skipping the step of heating the bud in oil? Any advice is greatly appreciated

  2. Welcome to the forums! it'll work.... but its not going to be nearly as powerful as if you follow one of the recipes that you'll find on this site. i would use the bud that you have now to make either hash oil or cannabutter. by doing this more thc will be absorbed into the brownies thus you get higher

  3. Do not listen to your friend.

You need to make canna-oil or canna-butter. And, then use that oil or butter to make brownies with.

You don't have to cook it for 3 hours like the video says. 15-25 minutes is fine. Make sure your temp. isn't to hot. And, you don't have to have a hot plate, you can use a stove on a really low heat.

  4. This is usually the method I use.
