Worms in soil

Discussion in 'Growing Organic Marijuana' started by sgtstadanko, Feb 9, 2012.

  1. I have read alot on people putting worms in the vegetable gardens. Not much about people doing this with mj plants. Any tried doing this before. Think it would be worth doing. Outdoor of course.

  2. I've been wondering the same thing. but wouldnt the worm eat the root growth?

  3. If you have a healthy soil already then you have worms. If you are using synthetic chemical fertilizer, then maybe not so many. The more the merrier in this instance!!

  4. no...worms are aerators and bio slime engulfers. They actually shy away from living root. Not on their menu.

  5. That would work...mj loves worm shit. Peace

  6. Worms do not have the necessary digestive tract to 'eat' anything other than to take in microbial slime and convert that through enzymes into worm castings.

  7. Thanks blades. I think might as well give it a try this year. Sound like it won't hurt

  8. I tried it once with a clone, when I transplanted I found it all shriveled and dry in my soil:eek:
