Animals are chewing at my stem and I'm going to cover it with a cardboard cylinder from the inside of a paper towel roll, will this damage it at all from not getting light or is it safe?
Not sure exactly what you mean. You mean you're going to cover the bottom part of the stem where the animals have been chewing, or is it an upper part. I'm not sure what effect it will have on the plant is you cover it's bottom stem. But if you're covering leaves and such expect stretching and maybe even some die off from no sun. Careful. a bunny got at my patch resently so i just put up chiken wire around it if ur middle or top stem is wer the damege is then i could have ben deer
dude let me just say if ther chewing at the stem then putting cardbord from the papper towel thing is sure to bug them out and go at it more....(my opinion)
