  1. Ok like oxy i heard that the way methadone gets metabolized that it doesnt show up on drug tests. Is this true? some say it shows up as an opiod, and some say they need to test specifically for it. Tell me whats up please tanks:confused:

  2. If its an opiate it will show.

  3. Yes and I failed the test because of it even though I drank my normal drink that I've used to pass other tests with no problem. The marijuana and roxi's didn't show up even though I smoked the night before, that's how confident I was in the drink.

When I talked to the lab, they said I tested positive for methadone

Now I use quickfix but I've been clean from methadone for over 2 months so it's for the marijuana

  4. No, methadone does NOT test positive as an opiate. It's chemical structure is too different. It requires a separate, specific test. That is why methadone clinics test their patients for both methadone AND opiates. On a common, 5 panel test methadone will not show up. On the somewhat less common 10 panel test, it WILL show up. Methadone stays in the system for about ten days.
