I have a 3 1/2 foot plant in a closet with a 5 foot flourescent bulb over it and a fan, today my little borther somehow got in my room while I was watering it. He told my other brother that he just saw a pot in there. but I put a bag over it because I was paranoid, and was about to get rid of it. but nothing happened kid is only 7. I took off the bag and the very top is limp. leaning a lot!! How can I fix it?
Well if the plant is 3 and a half feet tall and your using a flourescent bulb then that is most of the reason why it is going limp. Flourescent bulbs are only used for like clones and small plants. The flourescent bulb is causing your plant to have a weaker root system. Im surprized your plant stands that high. If i were you i would switch to an HPS, OR MH light. I think even a 150 watt HPS would work better than a flourescent to power your plant. GooD LucK!
