Will it be ok to switch lights while flowering

    I'm currently 41 days in to flower and just picked up a metal helide 400 watt. Do you think it will be ok to switch from 256 watt cfl lights to the metal halide?

    I would use both. mH is generally for veg, so I would keep the cfl's for more of spectrum.

    It will be fine. Keep you distance at first. Maybe 26" to start first day if you can and work it down to 14" or so range. People veg with MH because they tend to stretch less. Most people say they run hotter than HPS. It will be fine for flowering if you want. Get an HPS conversion bulb later on like was mentioned on your other thread.
