Will foxfarm ocean forest soil go "bad"

    Im thinking of buying a bag of ocean forest tonight but will I be able keep it outdoors for 2-3 months with no I'll effect?

    It should be OK if kept in a dark dry place.

    i would say indoors yes. outdoors bugs and other things may be able to get to it

    I'll have to leave it outside exposed to the elements for that time. Any way I could keep critters away from it.

    If its in a garage or something perhaps but hey its just a bag of soil and not that expensive in the scheme of things. Toss it or use it.

    The issue is your bag has holes in it so moisture can be released. Bugs can get in. So you go to cover it or put it in a bag and in a short while you'll have a mold infested bag that you have to throw out.

    I would just toss it or use it.

    I guess I'll just wait on getting my soil then I don't want to waste$ 20 bags of soil.
