Why do they use sterilized needles for giving a lethal injection?

Consistency and avoiding a lawsuit maybe? Not sure great question lol.

sure that sounds like it's correct and reasonable. but i'm willing to bet its more the heaven thing, as i learned from the tv that facts are really just opinion in smarty-talk language

 

why even waste the needle? we could just crack em with a baseball bat and save the few cents we spend on the syringes.

 

but then you would have to buy a new baseball bat every time you kill a person.
