some homegrown funk STICK IT TO THE MAN SoundClick artist: Papa Baloo - most original sound in pittsburgh
Man, I remember one of the first bands I heard that wasn't over the radio was Primus. I really liked Fisticufs and have a few of their CDs, but I can't say I listen too much.
haha primus changed my life! first time i heared em was when i bought frizzle fry (theyre first studio album). i didnt like it at first, thought claypools vocals were too bizzare but it grew on me and now its my favorite primus album. Vocals are deffinatley an acquired taste but one you get it the gettins good haha. i heard from a friend that theres supposed to be a new album and tour in 2011
Frizzle Fry is definitely my favorite album; as a band I think they're hard to get used to, but as a very 'alternative listener', they quickly grew on me. Timmy the Cat is fun to listen to baked.
