Today I noticed her leaves were a little droopy so I moved back my 60W CFL and put the fan on it. May be due to overwatering but I can't tell. Its in coco and perlite so it is hard to overwater but the medium did feel more moist than usual so I'm guessing that's what it is. Anyone know what else might be causing the droopiness? I AM a noob so I MAY be overly concerned. She's beautiful, just looks a little droopy today. Not really sure when I will need to add more lights, I live in a small apartment and cannot afford HID but I have plenty of natural daylight CFls at my disposal. I just don't know when will be a good time to get this bad boy shining! Can I give it too much light or too intense of light at this point? If you have questions about my setup ask I have yet to put everything up yet. "No sir, I don't do pot"
Strong looking. It could be waterlogged or underwatered. Coco can be watered 3 times a day with lights on.
And with cfl light you can't really give enough light. I'd start to add on soon to that. Btw are you hand watering them? I want to use coco but I don't know if I should. And how offten are you wattering them?
I am hand watering. Was watering once a day but it seemed to be getting water logged so I let it be for a day and a half or so. I love the coco though and so does the plant. Lots of drainage for sure Slow motion is better than no motion
Bump Should I feed her? I'm using coco and perlite and it's been like 3 days since I gave her any nute and before that they were very diluted. She's looking a little hungry but I'm not sure because, well ya know, I'm a noob...... Lol Slow motion is better than no motion
Lol to each is own I guess I've just been using n00b since my original xbox days just stuck I guess. Slow motion is better than no motion
Week later and I feel like she hasn't progressed much. Seems to be a problem. It's been getting really cold here and I think that might be it but I'm not sure. I'm scared to feed her because white widow is prone to nute burn. The leaves are kind of curling upwards from the middle of the leaf and some of the leaves are curving to the side. The whole plant itself jus t looks droopy. Doesn't look right.. What could be the problem?? Help!!! Slow motion is better than no motion
Mine have slowed down to. I put mine in bigger pots and I think I had some nute burn. The temps in my room got really cold too but I hooked up some heat tell I get the 1000 watt going. What's your temps? If they are stressed out that will slow them down. How many lights and watts? Last watering/feeding?
The temp of the room has gotten as low as 50 F last night but by the lights where the plant is was more around 60 low 70 ish 1 60W cfl and 2 23 watt cfl at about 1-3 inches away from the plant. Watered them earlier this morning , fed them lightly about a little over a day ago. I bought a heater and got the over all room temp up to about 76-78 and I got the humidity up a little too. Now just gunna wait and see what happens I guess Slow motion is better than no motion
