witch should i go with??.. cfls for veg, hps for flower... the plants are about week 2, will the paint effect the air quality?thanks
There are pros and cons to both. Mylar reflects more light if used properly, but I think painting is easier to manage, kinda depends on experience.
mylar does reflect more light, but if there are wrinkles it can create hot spots, vs flat white paint, which doesnt create hot spots & have also found that white paint can reduce temps just a little, 1-2 degrees max. if u go w/ paint, go to a major paint suplier & ask for titanium white paint, its reflectivity is about 94-97%, which is close to mylars reflectivity. check out my thread on this http://forum.grasscity.com/general-...te-paint-titanium-white-titanium-dioxide.html
