Which vaporizer for college campus vaping...

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by Alldayeryday, Jan 10, 2012.

  1. I am looking at the Arizer Solo, the Iolite Original and the Iolite Wispr... I have a launch box but was never really happy with how vaked I got (I guarantee you I know how to use it) and have since misplaced it. Which one do you recommend? I found a good deal on an original so I am kinda leaning towards that... but how do I tell the difference between a V1 and a V2 original? What are the differences? Thanks!

  2. I use the Arizer solo in my dorm and i've been vaping in my dorm since freshmen year. No smells with it except when you want to empty out the bud (since its vaped). You can also control the temperatures on it

  3. Not really trying to do it in my dorm, people have been getting in shit for vaping in dorms and I can't even open my jar without the halls smelling, I was just going to take it on a walk or out to the courtyard or something

  4. i have since moved out of the dorms but when i was living in the dorms i smoked everyday. i had an eq vape and we used a splooff w an exhaust fan and a towel at the door, never had any problems. I just bought a solo and it blos the mflb out of the water and is definately on par with the vape that comes from the eq

  5. Well fudge, is the Arizer Solo worth more than twice the cost of the Iolite Original tho?

  6. idk never used an iolite but if you want to get clouds and have it feel like your not smoking a portable vape get the solo

  7. Check out fuckcombustion.com. Much more intelligent information on that site then here. There's a thread for every vape.

I own a MFLB and an original Iolite and in my opinion the Launch box works better.

  8. i too own the magic flight launch box and it's amazing. i've even convinced some of my friends to get them and they have nothing but good things to say about it. the mflb is very small and portable which makes it easy to conceal. one of the greatest investments i've made imo

  9. Just got an iolite for $80, works much better than the launch box, although its not nearly as stealthy...

  10. And I got an extra large space case... Ground up an eighth like it was buttah

  11. Iolite has always been good to me, but I have never tried MFLB

    Magic Flight Launch Box Review

    PROS

    -affordable
    -portable, fits in your pocket
    -stealthy, silent
-heats up / cools down in no time
-comes with a wall charger for the batteries
-leftovers from vaping can be used for edibles
-little to no smell, if it does… it smells like burnt popcorn
    -LIFETIME WARRANTY

    CONS
    -cleaning / keeping it clean
-learning curve on how to get the perfect hit
-batteries dont last long but its inexpensive to buy more

    Overall
I was skeptical about buying this wooden piece for $100+ but after doing my research, watching/reading reviews on it I had to give it a shot. I’m glad I did though because I would have missed out on a great piece. This is the first vaporizer I’ve owned but it’s all I’m going to need since it has a LIFETIME WARRANTY and it’s extremely portable. I’ve taken it with me everywhere since I got it. Although there is a learning curve, it doesn’t take long until you’re getting big vape hits [took me 2 days]. When you’re hitting it, you also get the full flavor of what you’re vaping and you’re not filing your lungs with butane. It produces nice clean hits every time. I love my MFLB as do most of the people who buy it and I would definitely recommend this product. :smoke:

I bought an iolite v2 as soon as I moved into my current apartment at school last semester. I used it for a month or so, then felt like the high from it really just wasn't lasting long at all. So eventually I grew sick of it, and had realized that as long as I was slightly careful about the odors coming from my room, I could just smoke inside. So then I got this: [IMG]

and i've never looked back since =)

Edit: I suppose I could offer a little more insight as to how the iolites function. I found that I only liked using mine alone, as the bowl is big enough to get me ripped on my own, but when we add other people to the equation, you don't get nearly as high. It's kind of a pain to clean, with its small metal and plastic parts that are heating up and getting herb stuck to them and all. Also, after a week or so the taste of the herb got pretty funny, no matter how well I cleaned this, the herb still tastes off to me. After owning both a Da Buddha Vaporizer and an Iolite, I'd definitely recommend passing on the Iolite.

  14. Although I haven't touched mine ever since I got my Mobius Stemless, I still swear by the Vapir NO2 for vaporizing.

  15. I have owned the Vapir NO2, Vapir Mini Oxygen, and Da Buddha in various dorm situations. Right now at college I have Da Buddha, and it blows every other vape I've used out of the water (granted I haven't used a Volcano). The Mini Oxygen broke, the Vapir NO2 broke, they both had a funky tase, and they were made out of nasty plastic. Let alone the fact that you won't be able to experience the awesomeness of vaping through a bong with the Vapirs. Even though it's not portable and more expensive, I highly recommend Da Buddha

In this case go with the original Iolite. Because it looks like a walkie talkie it is probably the most stealth for using while taking a walk. The Arizer Solo has a look to it that if someone does see it they are more likely to realize you are up to something.

    P.S.
I just noticed you said you already got the Iolite. Good choice!

  17. After I set myself up to do that, I think I did it twice before the novelty wore off and I went back to regular vaping. I've never had the opportunity to try Da Buddha, but own a number of other vapes and the Vapir NO2 remains my favorite.

  18. To each his own I guess. I use my vape almost exclusively with a bong

  19. Hey guys, just thought I'd share another stealth mod for the mlfb

    Happy vaping! :smoke:
