wheres the best spot for a carbon filter in a closet growroom? right now i have mine in my basement directly under my growroom, but i was told that it should be in the room because it cleans the air better.
"The best" place is inside the growroom so that you suck the air through it and out. But some smaller rooms/spaces dont allow for that so it is possible to have it later in you vent chain so that you push the air through it. One thing you might want to consider, if you can, have it horizontal if you place it standing as I've seen on some pics here and there, the coal might settle so it dont filter the air as good. And also put some kind of filter inside the growroom/space so the carbon filter dont get clogged with dust and thereby reduce it's capacity. Good luck my friend
