Hallo I hava 5 seeds growing in their starter pot it is 400ml or 500ml i'm not sure. How big i can let them grow till I transplant into ground? I want them to make good roots and to be enough tough to survive outside. Now they are on my terrace where they get like 6-7 hours of direct sun light. they are less than 2 weeks old and now they are growing their 2nd leav set. edit: how can I minimaze streching when growing with sun light?
I transfer mine after 2 weeks, by then the plants are pretty strong and will do well in the outdoors. If your plant is still looking weak after 2 weeks than you can wait another if you want, but really after 1 week they can be transplanted. you shouldnt have stretching if there getting 6-7 hours of direct sunlight, and theres really nothing you can do about that outdoors, just try and find spots that are sunny for most of the day.
