If you have a party cup, half filled with FFLW, when should you transplant? I have 3 and 5gal grow bags, and plan to transplant them to FFOF for the 3gal then before flower to the 5gal. Problem is when I should transplant to the 3gals... The party cups ended up being half full so i don't want them to rootbind, but I want them to be transplanted into FFOF in the 3gals and i don't want to do it too early that they burn from the nutes in the soil... advice?
Well I would say about 10 days but if I were you I would turn the party cup upside down with the plant between your index and middle finger and check how "root bound" the plant has grown. If it's getting too much then transplant it, if you can't see any roots put it back in to the cup and give it a bit longer, then check again.
