When should I water my plant?

    It's in what I believe to be a (15L = 2.5 - 3) gallon pot
    It's roughly 3 weeks old.
    I've been watering it every 5days with 1 litre of water.
    I watered around 30hours ago and the top inch of soil is almost dry.
    How much should I be watering my plant and how often?

    What did you do to that plant? It looks beat up.

    Get off the whole "every 5 days thing" stick your finger in the soil and see how dry it is. I like to let my soil dry out then leave it dry for maybe 12-24 hours. Dry time in between waterings helps with root growth.

    I water mine every other day. Here in south cali, it gets hot and that topsoil drys fast.

    I gave mine 1/2 cup every morning and fed it once a week.

    I heavy water every 2 days and eternal I water when the mid layers drys just what I do

    water the whole pot till you have runoff...then lift the pot to tell the wet weight and then again when its dry..dont water until the pot feels light like when it was dry
