after changing to 12/12 how long does an average plant take to start budding? i have one plant in a box with 3 CFLs 15 watts, which are equal to 60 or 65 watts I believe.
It totally depends on what you know, and how well you know how to grow. In your case, a couple weeks you should see signs of sex.
im at 2-3 weeks right now and all of the white hairs are out and I can see where the nugs are going to be. I think they are pretty evident nugs at around 4 weeks
you need about 4 or 5 CFL that are equivalent to 100 wats. meaning 24 true wats or more. you need 2700 for flowering. 6500 wont give you good bud alone. anything higher then 2700 isnt really worth it unless u go straight to 6500. u need the orange tint to the bulb. more wats, the thicker and denser the bud will be and faster it can grow, more lumas more light means more energy for the plant to use towards growth
