yea i was reading a grow guide but i didn't quite get the info i was looking for? i was just wondering when exactly should i top the plant? like how old should it be or what not? can u top it when it has buds, and make it grow 2 more? when is the best time to do this, do i cut the 2 main leaves on top right above the internode? thanks for any help...
If your looking to Top a plant this will force it to grow 2 new main stems rather than 1. To do; simplely wait for your first set of 7 leafs. At that point you can top at any stage just simply cut off the top it will take 5 days for the plant to recover from the shock so dont panic after all you just beheaded it lol. you can top it again a week or 2 later if you want to have 4 heads or 6 etc..( but personaly 2 is fine). Also never top a PLant when the flowerin stage has started(12/12) cut dead leafs off but dont go mad with pruning.
