Do I begin counting the 8-10 weeks of flowering when I start to see flowers? Or do I begin counting 8-10 weeks from when I switched over to the 12/12 cycle? There is a couple weeks difference in the two and I'm starting to see the bud hairs turn orange. I don't want to over ripen. I've been researching a lot and I'm bombarded with information but I can't seem to find out this one question. Any help is greatly appreciative.
Some choose to start counting the flowering times as soon as they flip to 12/12. Other choose to start counting as soon as they see the pistils coming out after they switch to 12/12. I personally choose the latter. This article here from these very forums with a similar title may help you as well.
