Hey guys, just watched Alton Brown's "Good Eats" episode on how to brew your own beer at home: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2852527078421700337&q=Good+Eats Really awesome, but after it was all said and done I just said "heck, i'll just go down and pick up my favorite beer." Enjoying some Fat Tire Ale right now and loving it. What's your favorite beer?
why not also list your least favorite beer(s)? my least favorite beer is most definately keystone light . . .
Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA I can't believe people would say Milwaukee's Best is their favorite, I would say that is my least favorite. Just throw in two more dollars and buy some Keystone, it's nothing special but the difference is vast.
I <3 me some Keith's and I <3 me some Keith's commercials. Goof or not he was funny damnit! But if I'm working on a vehicle...it's Kokanee. I can't do mechanical shit without Kokanee and a decent cigar.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Bells Amber Ale (local brewery). Anything by any generic American beer company is fucking piss and anybody who claims that these are theyre favorite beer has obviously never spent more than 5$ on a 6 pack. Do yourself a favor all you Coors, Budweiser, Miller, Busch, Corona, Millwaukees Best, Ice House, and Natty Ice fans....go to a liquor store and buy a six pack...any six pack, of beer thats at least $8 and youll see what youve been missing. I think all of our friends from Canada and across the Atlantic will agree with me on that one.
Hehehe, there's shitty beer here too mate. Any other canucks ever tried Bowen Island? Or Black Label? Ugh. To be fair though...some people just prefer that kinda stuff. I've drank many great expensive beers with my Dad but he still buys Busch whenever we're out of homebrew. Even when he brews he goes for stuff like "American Lager" Though I'm going for a stout on our next batch. The faces he makes drinking it are worth the effort.
