my plant is simply laying on the ground. It's lowryder number 20. I have 2 double flo sticks, 160 WATTS. Is it my lighting? Am I over watering maybe? The stem looks dried, and the plant is simply weak and needs a support, but will STILL not stand. One problem is that because of space issues, my lights are on the sides, and NOT overhead. Can anyone help?
Sometimes plants tend to lean toward light. That could be it. Could also be that your lights are simply too far away from the plant causing it to stretch. If the plant stretches too far it becomes weak and tips over and sometimes they even die. The beauty of Floro's and CFL is that they are so easy to cool. I have my floros' nearly touching my plants all the time and they love it. My 2 cents. Good luck.
how big are your plants? are you unsing fans? if your not using fans that could be your problem because a constant flow of air over the plant strenghthens the stem sry i cant spell
