Can someone explain or post a link to a thread that explains the difference between a compost tea and a fungal tea/drench. Also I just made my first batch of organic soil and wanted to know which of these would be the best to use as a wetting agent
An Aerated Compost Tea (ACT) is described in detail on this site, in a sticky, as well as this one, Microbe Organics. As for a surfactant, liquid silica (ie. Dyna Gro Pro Tekt) works well. For a wetting agent, yucca root and/or aloe vera juice work wonders.
Ok so I'm gonna make a compost tea for my new mix. But when should I apply a fungal tea or a kelp tea? I know you guys don't like giving out the info for free so links would be cool
Read this thread to get a better understanding of what they are. When to apply comes with the knowledge of how they impact the soil system, though there are plenty of answers to be found in this sticky relating application rates and ratios. http://forum.grasscity.com/organic-growing/1110985-act-aerated-compost-tea.html
