Heres the deal. I absolutely adore death metal, and similar genres. As such, I am constantly searching for a heavier, more brutal sound. So my question is, what are some bands that you consider to be the most dark, evil, heavy bands in all of your experiences with metal. In other words, whats the darkest band you've ever heard of. And if its not too much to ask, what do you consider to be their best song/album? P.S. Satanic or violent themes do not bother me in the slightest.
Dethklok. Not all that brutal really but they were litterally AMAZING live. Wizard guitar players, all of them. And Gene hoglan? SO rad. Brendon Small kicks ass at everything.
