what's the best pot for hot temperatures?

  1. I live in Texas, and it's HOT down here in the summer- 100 degress plus every day.
Does anybody have any info on what kind of strains would be able to survive in that kind of heat? Sativa/mostly sativa, Indica/mostly indica? I'd appreciate any help on this.

  2. I'm in texas, and the key to getting any strain to survive the heat is to make sure the plant gets morning and early afternoon light, and at least partial shade the rest of the day. That's why I left several of my outdoor plants in pots, from march to early july they were getting direct sunlight all day. A few weeks later a few indicas were getting stressed, so I moved them to a spot that gave them direct sun until about 2pm, and partial shade the rest of the time. Some of the plants I didn't have in pots have been "cooked" in the sun.
