Governments are a man-made social structure made for self-benefit and contrary to popular belief, they are not necessary for a safe, functional society. Imagine if everybody had the right to defend themselves and no state to rob your money or liberty. Complete freedom. Sure, if governments disappeared overnight, chaos would surely arise in spots. But after that initial wave, we can have the most free, prosperous society ever on earth. It just requires everybody to be on the same page about respecting others liberties and property. With the current forms of communications connecting us across the globe, it only makes sense that ideas spread quicker and wider. It is possible for everybody to get on the same page, but it requires a lot of work for those already living and the generations thereafter. Certain unmentionables can open anyone's mind to the possibilities, however those who fight it will never find truth.
I don't think that's true at all. If you look back far enough you'll find points in mankind's history where government did not exist, and it was terrible for everyone. There's a reason society tended towards government, because even if it is imperfect it is more stable and prosperous. If there was no government we would be fragmented and probably subjected to much worse subjugation than what we face now, given that some group will find a way to prosper and oppress the remaining masses. Human nature is too greedy for a free society without rulership to work.

I believe the majority of people understand the benefit of peace and construction as opposed to war and destruction. Therefore the rule of law would not be diminished in an anarchist state. If you are truly interested on the expedient society, check out David Friedman's lectures. The NWO would be extremely dangerous. It would put more distance, more money, and more power into the hands of fewer people (by ratio).
Very possible, and they may be able to get away with it for awhile. But if they were found out, I believe the people would take care of them like they did the government. At that point there would be no corrupt government defending that group and we, the people, would have our way.

I don't see a NWO happening anytime soon, considering that international conflicts exist all around the world and will continue to exist forever. India and Pakistan, North and South Korea are not going to just stop and fighting and unite under one government. Ultimately if some sort of NWO formed it would turn into a giant power struggle. Countries, borders, and wars will exist as long as people do which is why a NWO will never happen, at least not when any of us are alive. A few people in this thread keep claiming that they don't want a government to exist at all and that life would be a bunch of unicorns and roses if it didn't. But that's simply not true. There's a reason that societies have formed governmental organizations for thousands of years. Anarchy is a good concept but in the long run is flawed. It assumes that people are innocent and not a bunch of greedy dicks. Now obviously there are plenty of good people out there but there are just as many bad ones who would rape, steal, and murder with no sort of deterrant. You need some form of control otherwise our society would fall apart. I'm not disagreeing that government has many many faults and that many of our politicians goal is too just expand gov and serve their own interests. This is what happens when you have any group in power. Look at the Catholic Church when it controlled most of Europe, it was twice as fucked up and corrupt as our government. People are ultimately corrupt as I've said before which is why there will always be corruption when you give people power. Why couldn't the new world order be a hybrid socialism with things like universal healthcare, free education, assured housing and jobs while also maintaining things like individual rights and freedoms. Why does the New World Order have to be the worst thing ever, the closest thing I've seen to a "New World Order" as you describe it is the UK and US right now... Societies formed governmental organizations for thousands of years because it has worked at creating a superclass of humans for thousands of years. Government systems assume that people are there to help you and aren't a bunch of greedy dicks. I disagree, there are more 'good' people than rapists, thieves, killers. Control/order != government. You can have all the control that you make in the world in an anarchist state. How will corruption spring if there is no government to forcefully take your money and liberty? Anarchism is the only way because it gives everybody the same amount of power. Sure, there may be some individuals who attempt to gain power, but it won't happen because the rest of society will balance it out. As for your first paragraph, it already has happened, the power of many countries lies in the hands of a few. Please re-establish your viewpoint on anarchism.
