What's for dinner?

  4. I forgot to post a photo last night. This is the easy and delicious af tomato, orzo and roasted red pepper soup with loads of fresh basil.

  5. I like cooking. For dinner I have creamy miso pasta with brussel sprouts

  11. Veggie burgers, mashed potatoes and gravy (veg), and beautiful local Romanesco sautéed with garlic and lemon juice.

  13. I had an amazing dinner today :) It consisted of rice with spices and very tasty steaks :rolleyes:

    And I tried an amazing homemade bread made with the stuff like in this list on Jon's Guide :rolleyes: Its taste reminded me a good, sweet pie :)
    And we had a pie with cherries for the dessert :)

  14. Braised eggplant, hummus with roasted garlic, stuffed grape leaves, Greek yogurt, olives, cucumber, marinated sun dried tomato, mini marinated red peppers, imported feta, dates, apricots, pine nuts.

  15. I'm having a lump of white fish with salad and a french tart for dessert.
     
  16. British? If so I gather the 'french tart' is a custard dessert?
     
  17. Almost British, Canadian! The tart is frangipane with poached pear.
     
  18. Ahhh, okay. The last time I heard the term 'french tart' it was from a Brit. By the way, I know you probably don't like hearing this but as a Canadian you're closer to American than you are British ;)
