LED Full Spectrum - Product Say's they are super nice i personally love these https://fluence.science/store/spydr-series/spydrx-plus/ If the top is just as good as the bottom why not just have the one..?
I had a room full of the spydr led units. Good stuff. After harvest I sold them as fast as I could. LEDs are great for short plants. But their light penetration is usually slightly better or worse than t5s with race ballast. If the price is ok, and you grow them short. Go for it!
If you're talking about those cheap $89 300w led's on Amazon you'd be right - they only put out 135watts. I have a 650w (actual) full spectrum led and it performs better than the 600w HPS I had with less heat and no ballast pull. I use T5's as well, but just for the first two weeks of growth.
I do them in 20 gallon pots. 5-7 ft tall and 4-5 feet wide. For my style, I had to go with hps (de's now). To my knowledge no led could penetrate this deep. LEDs are awesome though. I can't wait to see what they're gonna be like 2 or 3 years from now
Those are dope. I had the spdr units. But because of plant count in the industrial sector it was more beneficial for me to grow them larger. The spydr units weren't gonna cut it :/
