what water to use?

    hello gc
    what water should i water my plants with?
    i was just getting it from the tap but my friend told me that tap water has chemicals like chlorine and such.
    should i use distilled, spring, from the fridge, ect.

    I'm wondering this also.

    I'm thinking....distilled mabye?

    i use filtered water from the fridge, i think distilled is the best way to go tho

    would distilled water deprive the plants of any minerals from the tap/fridge?

    I wouldnt think so, i mean your not relying on your tap to feed your plants, thats what ferts are for. And Yes, Distilled is the way to go its got a neutral ph of around 7.

    Distilled water is OK if you have a small indoor grow and don´t need much, but my ladies take 6 litres of water a day each, distilled water would cost a fortune - tap water is my only option, but I let it sit for 24 to let the Cl evaporate.
    Don´t ever fuss with pH, though.

    They seem to like it though.

    distilled is the way to go but when you test your tap water and all the signs are g ood then go for it. Tap water in some areas is perfect for watering your plants.
