  1. Ok so ive been having long hair for twenty plus years & ive rocked many hairstyles .. now im limited to hairstyles becuz my hair is thinning, ya see at one point in my life all i did was stress & didnt take care of my hair .. these days im trying to restore it by eating right, not stressing, taken care of it, etc .. thank god i dont even have a receding hair line .... however i noticed alot of my friends headed towards the dr. phil look around their 20's .. today some have went completley bald, some are holding on to what little is left, then some have gotten the full dr. phil look .. i always ask'em at what point did you notice you were getting bald? did you wake up with hair on your pillows? do you see it going down the drain in the shower? like what point did you notice the days of using combs are gone? ive always been curious about these turning points .. who can answer these questions?

  2. I wouldn't get too cocky if you're in your 20's...seen plenty of dudes lose all their hair during that decade.

Balding appears to happen at different times and durations for men...genetics and stress pry both play a role. Some guys I knew in hs were damn near bald by the time they graduated at 18...others lost it in the same fashion or gradually thru their 20's. And there's dudes like me who are in mid 30's and still have no sign of a receding hairline.

When it comes to having good hair...kinda like having a nice unit...some dudes got it and some don't. Not the end of the world either way. Play the hand you were dealt.

  3. I'm 35 and my hairline is slowly receding.

I plan to call Bosley soon lol

There was a study done on rats, if you pull out a lot of hair, it causes it to grow faster. Don't ask me what the study was about and how they got to pulling rat hairs.

  4. Some days I envy my bald friends.........hair cutting day, shampoo shopping day, stranded on an island and need a reflective object day...;)

  10. Couple years ago when the comb started having a lot of hair in the teeth and the tub drain getting plugged

  11. I shouldn't have to worry till I'm mid 50's.

My dad has a noticeable Jew cap but just a thinned section so genetics should be on my side

  12. I'm too sexy for my hair.

  13. I didn't, because I'm not bald/balding.

I started noticing greys when I was around 23, though.

  15. My hair is thinning a bit in that horseshoe area, noticed it prob 5 years ago and hasnt progressed much (I'm 34). My dad's hair seems similar, he's 65 and still has hair there but pretty thinned out.

I've def got the grey thing goin on, more so with my facial hair. Doesn't really matter, just have to own it.

  16. i started noticing at like 16.
Im 29, iv just about got enough that with it long i can engineer some sort of comb over, but probably not for much longer.

  17. 40 years old bald should of shaved my head at 35 held on for 4 years. Pride I guess.

  18. There was a hardware store that had a camera above the entrance door, it was aimed so you could see the top back of your head as you walked in. Straight in front of you was the monitor for the camera. At the time I had long hair and he last 4-5" was dyed bright pink. One day I walked in and noticed I had a thin spot showing. I went straight to the barber and cut it short, soon after I decided to shave it off completely and haven't had hair on my head for about 30 years. There is nothing more stupid looking than a guy with thinning or bald spots trying to rock a cool hairstyle.

I love not having hair on my head, if I could grow a full head of hair, I would still shave it off.
