My hindu kush fem auto flowers have just sprouted, one sprouted on July 2nd in fox farm soil and the other Hindu Kush auto fem sprouted in water only soil (great lakes soil) on July 5th. If I want my plants to have thiccer and more sense and potent buds, what organic materials containing a rich source of phosphorus can I turn into liquid fertilizer and give to my plants when they start to flower? I'd prefer if the phosphorus source was liquid, or at least able to make a liquid fertilizer rich with phosphorus. Sent from my LM-V350 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I thought bone tea wasn't organic, won't it affect the pH level of the soil and potentially burn the plant? Sent from my LM-V350 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Then how would you suggest I get good thicc yield? Sent from my LM-V350 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Bone meal is organic, but anyways I use once a week on my girl now she was struggling. Just a suggestion ww in week 3 flowering Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
Jk for real. I mean thicc I mean a dense and big bud. Sent from my LM-V350 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
How do you recommend or suggest I make bone meal tea? Sent from my LM-V350 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I add 2 tablespoons bone meal to boiling water. Boil for a couple hours let cool. Once at room temp I add ewc molasses and a air stone let aerate for 24 hours. Dilute to 50/50 and feed. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
Ewc = earth worm casting, and boiling helps bone meal release some of the nutrients to the water. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
Boiling seems extreme in organics. Ewc is earthworm castings. Sent from my SM-N960U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Ok, he meant "thick". I was wondering the same thing. If it were me, I'd be more concerned about Putin having me murdered for growing rather than worrying about the thickness of my colas. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
If I boil my happy frog bone meal with beneficial microbes I will kill all of that off. I think just aeration with the EWC and bone meal with no boiling will leave you more happy in the end.
Guy I use straight bone meal from the depot. I don't use fox farm stuff anymore. When you add ewc/molasses it builds the microbes as it brews. So I never seen the need to purchase anything with added microbes due to brewing my own. I'll even take a pinch of the soil and throw it in there to breed those microbes as well. Most bonemeal you would purchase in a store is 'steamed bonemeal', so I can't see where boiling would be bad. cheers os
