What u have to realize is that most nutrients on the market are designed for growing tomatoes and then tweaked a little. I have used the 3-part series on the above post with good results. Simon and Arjan of Serious Seeds recommended Advanced Hydroponics (Holland) and I have been seeing great results from these as well, however I haven't found any local shops that carry them.
