What nutrients are abundant in coco?

  1. Im pretty sure Potassium(K) and calcium are high in coco and also salts lol but are there any other nutrients that are high in coco.

And do the natural nutrients in coco stay in the coco for the plant to feed on for a while or no?

  2. Potassium is the main element. Calcium and Magnesium are both present to a much lesser extent than Potassium. All 3 of these elements compete with each other for uptake by the coco cation buffer. This is why coco specific nutrients have lower K levels and higher Ca and Mg levels. This fills the coco buffer with the proper ratios so that none of the elements get locked out from a cation imbalance.

  3. And is coco actually able to retain nutes..like when you feed with chem nutes can the coco kind of store nutes from the food you give it or does the plant pretty much uptake it asap.

Im trying to grasp what goes on in the medium..especially coco. Can coco store nutes you throw at it and in turn the plant just uptakes whats needed from the medium for the processes???
