What is this!?

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by rlw, Jan 21, 2004.

  1. My oh-so healthy plants are under attack by *something*. The discoloration starts out as little brown specs and progresses to what you see below. The leaves also get dry and brittle. The plants are being soil-grown organically indoors under a 1000W MH.

If anyone can diagnose this problem and give me a suggested course of action, I'd be much obliged...

    Thx,

  6. lol...this has got to be the most completely random streak ive done yet.

and no, im gonna fix it..its just gonna be hard because its a perfectly clean break, so no real holding points.

  7. no.........Peace out.......Sid

  8. If its not overfertilization its heat stress from the 1000 watt MH light.

  9. I agree with BoB in your case... but I have had identical symptoms (including the crunchy brown ;)) on lower leaves in the 2nd month of veg, where light-heat was not possibly a factor (flouros). Definitely check pH.
