    Its has single balls popping up in the areas where pistles, or balls would be what is this?

    Its male. Sorry, but that's just the way it is. I recently had to kill two plants that turned out to be males that were literally 15 times the size of that one, so just grit your teeth and do it before it pollenates. Yeah, it sucks. Sigh...

    You're not crazy. Its a living thing and that's always sad. Growers curse. We actually care about the things we're caring for.
