What is this instrument?

    At the very beginning. Before the bass comes in. Anyone know what that's called if it has a specific name?

    All of the sounds are computer synthesized.. but I would have to say it sounds more like and organ mabe?:smoke:

    Everything you hear are "Softsynths", mainly Reason and rebirth. Too be honest the opeing bars of that song sound like 100 different generic "organ" patchs for different soft synths, so get noodling today and find what the sound you want ;)

    To answer your question "What is this instrument?", its the Mac Laptop, second item from the left in the pic above (Deadmua5's current live setup)

    Thanks man... knew it was a comp generated sound just didn't know if it had a specific name.

    It's an electric organ with a lot of distortion and maybe a phaser
