What is the best type of perc?

  1. Theres drag on the initial pull just like a stero matrix. After that its perfect

  2. So the fritted perc and matrix perc are both drag machines that kill taste what's good then? Is it peyote pillar or bust?

  3. All percs have some hint of drag due to the diffusion. Just get a roor no percs just a straight or beaker and milk that ish.

  4. I am... But seriously the gridded inline is the best all around IMO

  5. I got a double gridded donut by EFS, it is definitely one of, if not the smoothest single chamber I've ever hit. It stacks bubbles like a champ.

Idk why but I'm not a big fan of Mobious, the matrix perc looks sick but in the videos I've seen the bottom 3/4 of the perc isn't in use until the hit is being cleared.

..sorry for the hate on Mobious, just not a fan of their work.

  6. When I had the 18 inch Goldstein there was no drag when the water was perfectly even with the disc. It has no flavor so I wouldnt call it the best. My vote is probably for the stemline for most solid. There are others that hit nice but none work as consistent all around. goldsteins/disc have to be hit straight to function best usually(if its a low water level piece), reverse showerheads cant be tilted either for max percing, blah blah the list of errors goes on. When done well a gridded stemm percs like shit, diffuses super well, clears crazy fast and has amazing flavor.

I also am a fan of stems to disc like the Apix I had

I also was a huge fan of my EFS double gridded donut. Great single perc piece.

  7. Just saying... read the op... he's talking about diffusion that's what I'm going off of.

  8. thanks for opinons, can someone explain drag correctly cause it seems like everyone in here has a different opinion on what drag is myself included

  9. Drag is how hard to you have to pull on the bong. Usually bongs with low drag have high airflow. Basically drag is how hard you have to breath in.

  10. ok thank you sir

  11. Hey y'all post some pictures. I know what honeycomb and showerhead look like but what's all this other stuff! Lol

  12. If you don't know those percs go to aqua lab technologies, ur welcome

  13. Dave goldstein - fritted disk perc

  14. OK. Challenge accepted. Goldsteins suck by the way, I keep hearing from everyone he puts roosters on his bongs because he likes people to his his "rooster" if you know what I mean... plus, I've been in contact with several broken ones and before they broke they clogged.

  15. And as far as concentrates, it was determined that a diffusion pump is the best bet because of the single bubble that gets drawn out throughout the whole tube... functions @ 30 seconds in [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_1LLFDaCCk]diffusion pump - YouTube[/ame]

  16. Inline all day'!!! <3 <3 <3

  17. Gridded shower head, stemline, shower cap in that order

The shower head has better flavor than the stemline and equal in drag, stemline overall great, shower cap takes third due to initial drag but has the best flavor

  18. Blargh, I like Goldsteins. At least the tubes for flowers. I have found a lot of negative stuff I read about them to be bullshite, with the exception of drag. But to me the drag is worth it for the smoothness.

I'm sure people have indeed seen crooked discs. I've seen Toros with crooked circs. I've seen SG's with weird grids. That's why you buy in person if you are able.

  19. Functionality wise though only the top rings function, but man what a bad ass top ring lol.

If functionality and diffusion are the two weighing factors it has to be the DG fritted disc if its up to me lol

  20. I think what slide your using can sometime make a bigger diff than the perc, for example with a dg and a push bowl you'll get like 2 holes to fire with a dd you'll get a ton to fire so it would be like , 32 slit shower head with dd would be more diffused then a dg(38282738292833 holes) and push slide. Make sense? Lol
