I am on the last two weeks of flowering. Running 600 watts HPS about two feet from canopy top. 36k lux from smaller bud top. Temp is 80-82f I'm already running 2 inline fans in a cooltube. I have no more space to bring up the lights. No A/C and no way to install one. Should I go back to 400w hps and place the light closer? Maybe ill get more lux? Any one has any experience with this? Do what ever you can to raise the hps just a little higher. 80-82 is a little high but I think you'll be okay. Just dont push 85.. Humidity?

higher humidity with the higher temp will work in your favor. Now your main worry should be mold. Keep good air flow and exchange.

Eh I think I want to take my last comment back.. I was figuring thr high humidity would stop the flowers from drying out. Then I remembered reading about the lower humidity and heat could cause more resin production to protect the flowers. Im not too sure on this one actually. Hopefully someone who's had this problem could help you. My humidity is alway low and I need to bring it up a little.
Temps are OK. What are the room temps outside the temt? How are you getting air in? Passive? Do you have a smal 10in fan to bring in air from floor level? How is the air extracted from the room? Just want to make sure you are not recirculating hot air.
To get the equivilant amount of lumens to your plant you'd have to keep your 400watter 17-18 inches from the plant. That'll give ya some extra room up top, but honestly, your plants shouldn't really grow vertically for the last Two weeks of flower And 85 isn't bad. Its not ideal, but weed's a weed, especially if you're growing a sativa cross, it'll do just fine
you need to lower that humidity dude mine was around 65% on my last grow and my bigger buds started to get mouldy,you are in the prime time to get mould now with 2 weeks left
Outside is like 75f. I have 2axial fan 6in (325cfm) for exaust and 1 5in for intake . Also 2 fans in side the duct that never turn off. Air comes from outside to bottom of tent. my set up was 600w hps in cool tube but i had a shit 4" extractor fan with filter and my solution was just chop it down before i lose any more bud lol iv moved to LED for my next grow
