Yes. Flowering is when the photoperiod (amount of light given to the plant) is changed to a 12 hours on, 12 hours off schedule. In nature this will be towards the end of the summer (as the nights grow longer) indicating to the females that pretty soon it's going to get too cold to live and they better bloody well hurry up and make babees. Anyway, this stimulates the females to grow bud (to catch the pollen produced by the males and then produce seeds in). Obviously indoors you have to change this light period yourself (a good timer (and contact relay if using high wattage lights so as not to blow the aforementioned timer)is essential in growing). Also obvious in indoor growing is that in most cases you don't want the females to catch pollen and produce seeds... hence you must remove your males from the growing area when they show themselves. Kill 'em, make hash from them, put them elsewhere for breeding, whatever, just don't let them near the femmes. SS
