What is a bong stem?

    Im new with bongs and buyng one, I hear it's like a rush, but can you smoke out of it? And does it have anything to do with a bowl for a bong?

    Im not sure I understand what you are asking but bongs are made up as: the bong itself, than you have a bowl or slide going into the downstem. The down stem goes from the top of the top of the bowl down into the water, and the slid eor bowl sits on top of that. Hope that helps

    Its the peice of glass that is placed into the water, so when inhaling the smoke is filtrated/cooled down by the water
